It is called "wet" microdermabrasion or hydrafacial because the machine uses special serums that are pushed into the deeper layers of the skin during the exfoliation process.  You will experience both suction, exfoliation, and wetness from the treatment.  The process is purifying, refreshing and glowing and can also help soften congestion.
